I went to DD36 and get a much better fit. I now get to see the beautiful bracelet when looking at the dial. 40mm looks great on a large wrist, but I think 36mm is enduring and looks fantastic on any size wrist. Do you ever feel your DD40 is too large or the DD36 too small in diameter? Finally, a controversial question - would a 38 mm Day-Date be the ideal bridge building release? Updating the size of the 36 mm, but not too drastically? Rolex makes the current DD in 40mm and 36mm for a reason. 36mm is for smaller wrists, but the same people who like the other models in 40-41 like the DD in 36mm! And they look small even on my smaller 17cm wrist.
