Some of the TD are quoting they only have 7750 (or the 'updated version') of it, which has less flaws. Then 2 other TD are saying they have the A79350 movement, not sure . It is about VSF movements used in Panerai reps. So my understanding is that there are 4 different movements in current VSF reps: P9000 / This is a modified 7750 that was used before 2020. P9000 V2 / This is a true clone in every sense of the way. The closest movement to compete with modified 7750(which can be seen in IWCs and ORIS watches) will be the SEIKO AutoChrono, which is found in the Anantas, Phoenix as well as some Junghans and TAGS. The rest, forget about it .
Another obvious example is Panerai - they use a version of the 7750 with all the chronograph parts stripped off, and this provides them with an automatic movement that has the sub-seconds at 9 o'clock, which is a key design feature in their watches (they also completely redesign the dial side so the calendar is an instantaneous change, that .
