I would doubt that Breitling change the screw down stem seal, so their offer to reseal this watch is a con. The same with my older 65062 Aerospace (about to be pensioned off) the back is a snap in type with no seal, so I now change the battery myself.This Breitling electronic movement ́s various functions are exceptionally logical and simple to use. They are selected and called up merely by actioning the crown. in position 1 to select functions. Functions are selected by rotating the crown in position 1 (neutral position) backward or forward.Reset time, align hands digital display.
I do DIY battery change on all my G-Shock / Timex, X-33 and Aerospace. The Aerospace is not much more difficult than a G-Shock. The only thing is that the screws holding down the battery clip are tiny (for SQ Aerospace). But if you worry about DIY, its best to send it to Breitling and let the service center handle it. 1 3 5. I’ve just taken my aerospace out of box today and realised the battery is dead and needs replacing. Breiling boutique sales assistant suggested the price would range from around £170 for this and upto £500 should the watch require a service.
