Signed Rolex, Oyster Air-Lion, Ref. 4647, circa 1944 With nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the silvered matte dial with applied Arabic and dot numerals, sweep center seconds, the cushion-shaped case with flat bezel, angular lugs, engraved inscription to the screw back and screw down crown, case, dial and movement signed Some 4647's are branded Ever est, Army, and Air-Lion. I've seen this case shape referred to as a "military case" as well.
