Hi I actually went to breitling service center in hongkong before and asked about adjusting the navitimer date. even the technician showed me how to turn it over midnight then wind it back to 8 oclock then go forward again. I am trying to date a Breitling Navitimer. Pix to follow. The face is all black, marked as follows: under the 12: Breitling in script; under that is the gold AOPA wings logo. At the very bottom, under the 6: SWISS MADE in tiny type. There is no NAVITIMER on the face.
Works perfect and it was a Breitling Service Centre that showed me how to do it. The most common one that needs this is the cal 23 that I'm aware which have the Chrono subdials modified in the 3/6/9 position and the watches using it can be found here:
