Hi everyone, would love your opinion on what to get for my first Chanel bag. I am debating between the black coco handle bag or black Chanel 19 bag. It seems to be a debate between classic or trendy - I love both but can only get one right now. I'm considering on purchasing my first Chanel bag. I really love the Coco bag, because I'm a top-handle gal. Is it possible to walk in a boutique and just purchase one without an extensive purchase history? I keep hearing stories that you have to spend quite a bit to get offered a bag. I didn't know if this was for a flap bag or other bags as well.

Coco Handle - prim and proper, very "dainty". Chanel 19 - almost the exact opposite, casual and cool, edgy. Mini Rectangle - classic, traditional, versatile. Personally, I would get the mini rectangular because the CCH is way too far out of my lane style-wise and I found the straps of the Chanel 19 uncomfortable (unpopular opinion, btw). I love mini coco handle too!!! Which one will keep longer. Buy the one that you'll love. Its hard to estimate which one will last longer since theres too many variable,depend on the usage, also the exposure to weathers & even the quality of the platting. Both hw has its pro & cons. Ghw fading is possible,& theres even rhw issue by other member. The Coco handle is a seasonal bag, which means, it’s not always around. Chanel has 6 collections a year, and I believe the one collection they have a Trendy CC, the other collection they bring out the Coco Handle. So they rorate. They are around. Maybe you could spread your chances and call other stores as well?
